The Home Service Club, also called HSC Warranty, offers home warranties across the United States. The company has two options, standard and comprehensive coverage, with add-ons available. The Home Service Club doesn’t require an inspection and doesn’t put an age limit on covered items.

The Home Service Club Breakdown

The Home Service Club Standard Coverage plan includes 18 systems and appliances, including your air conditioning, plumbing, heating, refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers, and dishwashers. The Comprehensive Coverage plan adds 15 more items (33 total), including smoke detectors, telephone and alarm wiring, doorbells, and plumbing stoppage.

For additional coverage, The Home Service Club offers Utility Line Coverage add-on package with includes six additional systems such as outside water, gas, and sewer lines. Optionally, you can choose single add-ons like well pumps, sprinkler systems, and pools and spas.  The per-unit cap ranges from $300 to $2,500, and the overall annual cap ranges from $6,000 to $9,000. HSC doesn’t cover repairs due to improper maintenance or user error.

This demonstrates their commitment to customer satisfaction. The effective policy date starts 10 days after the consumers purchase the policy, which is a stand-out feature. lists The Home Service Club on its list of top home warranty programs. It commends HSC for its comprehensive, flexible coverage. However, it notes that the company could do better on workmanship guarantees and service fees. The Home Service Club also has a short recall period for faulty repairs (90 days).
